The house is secluded and quiet apart from the the sound of waves splashing onto the beach. Our section is surronded by native bush.Bell birds and wood pigeon abound. We are only 10 min walk to the beach and cafes, and 10 min drive to the centre of town.

Dunedin has a temperate climate with temperatures ranging around 25C in summer and 8C in the winter.

Dunedin is known as the Edinburgh of the South because a lot of English and Scottish people settled here after the gold rush in 1860's.

Our population is 120,000 but when the university finishes for the year 20,000 students go home. Otago University is in the top 100 universities in the World.

Dunedin is known for its wild life including Yellow Eye Penguins, Seals, and Royal Albatross, one of only two nesting sites in the world.

Dunedin has the steepest street in the world with a gradient of ????. Baldwin Street is very popular for tourists who like to walk to the top then receive a certificate.
